" I decided to go back to my blues roots because It seemed that all the Blues Guitar players were Non Black, I have been playing for more than 20 years and never got the recognition that my peers did.

 I played the texas circut with people like Stevie Ray, Eric Johnson,Allen Haynes, Rocky Hill, Bugs Henderson and many other guys

before i changed my style and moved on to other things,
